Smart Bottoms 3.1 Review

If  you follow me on social media you'll know I recently started cloth diapering full time. I drastically made this decision to cloth diaper and I have to say I wish I would've done it sooner.
I had the chance to try out Smart Bottoms 3.1 organic cotton diaper. I absolutely love the prints they make, this ones in the style called Allister. This diaper is so easy to use being an all in one system, you don't have to prep it before use. Its dry time is so quick which makes it even more amazing. This diaper is priced at 29.00 US dollars which isn't  too expensive compared to other organic diapers.
When I first used the diaper my little one completely leaked thru it but after speaking to a rep they recommend that the diaper be washed a good 6-8 times before use. I washed it about 4 times till I didn't experience anymore leaks and we've been leak proof ever since. I love the fit on my 5 month old, its not too tight around the legs or waist. They state that it'll fit from 10 lb. to 35 I can definitely see it fitting my son as he grows.

Overall: I would recommend this organic cotton diaper. I love the look and feel of it. And if you are looking for an all organic (AIO) this would be a great buy.

Baby Wearing

Hello Lovelies. It been a while since I came on here and posted.
If you all follow me on my social media you would know I love baby wearing, I couldn't do it to much with my first but I am making up for it with my second.
A lot of you guys have asked me how I baby wear since I mostly use wraps and I use them on the daily. So I made a tutorial to help those of you who are interested in learning.
I show how to do a Newborn hold and a Classic hold.

Baby wearing may seem difficult but its actually super easy it take no more than a minute or two to put baby on and your handsfree to do other things. Since I do have a toddler I have to tend to him as-well and this makes it easier so both babes are happy.

My Nursing Must Haves

Hey there mamas! I made a short video to hopefully help new moms in the breastfeeding process. (No I don't teach you how to breastfeed) I talk to you about tips that helped me in producing more milk, as well as products that I enjoy and make my breastfeeding experience easier.
Nothing is more beautiful than that bond you create while breastfeeding. I know some can't or don't chose to breastfeeding and I am in no way judging or saying you have to breastfeed; I'm just simply sharing my breastfeeding must haves and things that helped me with both my children.

I hope this video helped some of you out. Something that I did not go in depth in this video was the topic on plugged ducts. I mention in this video how I got plugged ducts with my first child a lot. And in order to prevent them the best way is to pump after every feeding; if your child does not empty your breast. However if you still find yourself getting plugged ducts the best way I found to unplugged them were certain positions while breastfeeding.
Plugged ducts hurt so step one would be to either take a warm shower and let the hot water hit the area that hurts or use warm a cloth on; you want to gently massage. Second will be latch your child. I found that hovering over helped (since gravity did a lot of the work) a lot. You should do these two steps as much as possible and should clear the plugged duct.

Id love to hear some of your favorites as well as any other tips for fellow moms.

Maxi Cosi Pria 70 Review

Lets talk about car seats. This topic I believe is most important for all moms. We want the best/ safest car seat out there, and some want the most for your buck. Car seats are expensive and its definitely an investment. I recently got the Maxi cosi Pria 70 with TinyFit. This car seat is all that and more. Most would ask why my 2 month old is in a convertible car seat and not an infant seat. This car seat is meant to fit your child as he/she grows. How awesome is that? You can rear face and front face your child depending on their weight. It has a great incline for my tiny tiny babe. One car seat till babe doesn't need one no more. So what better way to save money and feel at ease that your little one is completely safe.

Top rated for safety, comfort and a best fit in the vehicle, the latest generation of the Pria™ 70 with TinyFit™ is here. The Pria is known for advanced safety utilizing FlexTech™ for multi-directional crash energy management and Air Protect® for advanced side impact protection.

Im really excited to share this with you all. If you're on the hunt for a car seat this is definitely the way to go. This car seat feels luxurious to the touch with amazing comfort and padding. I know my little is feeling like a king. I will link Maxi-Cosi site for more information.
If you are a new parent and you are looking for a seat to attach to your stroller this isn't the car seat for you, Maxi Cosi also makes great infant seats. But for me this is the best and you save a lot in the end.

What's in my diaper bag?

I recently uploaded  a what's in my diaper video on my channel.

I wanted to go more in depth on the items that I do carry in my bag and why they have made it into my bag.
As mentioned I use the Lilly Jade Elizabeth bag which for some reason I called Lilly & Jade in my video, but its Lilly-Jade.

Baby & Toddler Favs:
* Yum Earth Organic / Vitamin C pops : This is my healthier alternative to candy for my son. I prefer these to most candies and they are actually very tasty.
* Wubbanub: Elephant my littlest seems to love this and Natursutten  the most which I keep around the house.
* Play Pack Coloring book: His favorites are Paw Patrol, Ninja Turtles and Minions. They bring crayons and stickers for just $1 at target.

Mommy Favs:
* Honest Hand Sanitizer: I love this because it smells good, it quick to handle and the fact that it doesn't leave any residue in your hands.
* Nursing Cover up: I don't have a favorite brand but if you plan on breastfeeding I think a cover up is a must while on the go.
* Nursing Pads: I prefer disposable since you just throw them out after every use.
* Solly Baby Wrap: I love this brand, the fabric is light weight, baby loves it which is most important and its travel friendly.
* Water Wipes: My favorite brand of baby wipes, I carry in my wipes case always.
* Honest Diapers: Wasn't in the video as I had just used up the last one in the bag. But these are my favorites for babe.

These to me are the most important items in my bag. I cannot leave my house without them. Id love to hear some of your favorites.
Also check out my ig we are doing a loop giveaway ending 5.10.16 with great goodies for all breastfeeding mamas.

HALO Bassinest Review

I wanted to share with you all my thoughts on the HALO Bassinest. As I mentioned before in previous posts I feel a bassinet is a must when having a baby specially if you plan of breast feeding.

This bassinest as it is called is by far the best one I've owned. It has amazing features:

  • 360 degree swivel
  • Side walls lower easily so you can get to baby
  • You can adjust it to the height of your bed if desired.
  • Has small storage at each side
  • Also has a night light, lullabies, vibration & nursing timer .

These are some of the reasons to why this bassinet is so amazing, it makes it so easy for you to see baby, to reach baby and all from the comfort of your bed. You don't even need to get out of bed if you wanted.

I own the Premiere Series which retails for $249.99. However they do have different ones depending on what your looking for and what you are willing to spend.

Another good addition is their Swaddler my little one absolutely loves it. Its super cozy and come in a variety of different colors and patterns.

L'oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Review

I recently got the chance to try out the NEW Loreal Extraordinary hair oil Line thanks to influenster. And I must say I was really surprised at how much I like these products.
The line claims to be for dry/ lifeless hair; which mine has been since I got pregnant and the fact that I use to have lavender hair.

These products have revived my hair in the past few weeks that I had to share with you all. Plus you can't beat the price....

You have the shampoo and conditioner which to my surprise does a great job at cleaning all the dirt off, off your hair. I thought since it has oil complex it would leave my hair feeling greasy. But it does the total opposite.
The whole line also claims to contain Coconut, Argan, Chamomile, Amla, Soja, and Sunflower.  Which adds this amazing scent that lingers.

Then theres the oil in cream which I like to use on my damp hair and helps with any small frizz that I get. And leaves my hair silky soft.

Lastly is the Lustrous Oil serum which is my favorite of the bunch. It reminds me of my all time favorite hair oil Kerastase Elixir Ultimate. What I love most about it is that you can use it on damp hair or after you style. It gives your hair the most amazing shine. Absolutely love it.
If I was to only get 3 products I would definitely get the shampoo and conditioner and this Oil serum. You won't be disappointed.
