PMD Review

As promised! Today Im going to review the Personal Microdermabrasion device. This device claims to help brighten, smooth and tone texture. All the things I look for to improve on my skin. A little background to my skin: is that its pretty much normal however I do suffer from dry patches and break out occasionally.

I made a short video on how I use the device.

What's cool about this device is that its an at home microdermabrasion; as for what it does it helps increase the blood flow and circulation in your skin by its suctioning power. And on top of that it has a small or large disc that helps to gently exfoliate the skin. The small disc is meant for the face while the large is meant for the body.  You do however have to change the disc every so often but when purchased it brings a few. They have different disc depending on your skin type, anything from very sensitive to coarse.

Overall from using this device I have seen a huge difference in my skin, mostly on my skin texture. I can tell the difference specially when I apply makeup. I would recommend this device to any who have either really dry or dry patches or those who have acne or tend to break out. This does an amazing job at clearing up your skin.

Bambino Miosolo AIO Diaper Review

I collaborated with Bambino Mio in the launch of their New Prints coming out today Sept 22.

These diapers are rather unique they have won several awards, and I can see why. Bambino Mio is a UK based company,  and today I’ll be reviewing Miosolo all in one award winning "nappies".
These diapers are priced at $21.99, which is priced similar to higher name brands. The uniqueness of this diaper is the insert. It has a flap material on the end that looks like a pocket and there are several loops throughout the length of the insert.  Which makes it so much easier to stuff and remove. You can also add a booster insert for nighttime use. This diaper quickly became a new favorite of mine, it  held up very well. The insert is thicker than some other styles but it does a great job at absorbing. I find that it takes a little longer to dry if you don't fully remove out the insert but like I said it absorbs amazingly and can be worn for long periods of time. I can even use it for nighttime and I have no leaks as longs I use the booster. This diaper has a Velcro style fasteners and the snaps which make it a one size diaper.  It fits perfectly on my 6 month old and doesn't leave any red mark around the leg.

Overall: I can recommend this diaper due to its super absorbency, its easy to use. And the fact that it has stay dry ( so LO doesn't feel wet) is amazing for those who'd like to use it for both day to day and night time.

Humbird AI2 Wool Wrap Review

Today I’m reviewing a small company called HumBird, made by a mom in the Bavarian Alps, she’s been creating cloth diapers for 6 years now. I had the opportunity to try the Wool Diaper Cover which is an AI2 wool wrap.
This cover is super soft to the touch and stretchy. It actually fits both my 5 month old and my 2 year old. She states that it should fit 10 to 45 lb. and can be used as a cover or an AI2. This means you can put it over any fitted diaper or a prefold or flat. Or use inserts which is sold seperatly.
Wool covers are often priced quite high which can change our mind about purchasing them, since we are looking to save money when using cloth diapers. However these wool covers are super affordable, at only 34.99 US dollars.
Fun Fact: About wool, is that you can lanolize it and you can reuse a cover many times before you have to wash it. All you have to do is let it air out between uses and its natural antimicrobial properties act as a natural cleanser. This cover has great absorbency for daytime, I found that with the insert it lasted a good 4 hours. As for nighttime I had to use a fitted. The cover itself is rather thin even with one of the inserts, when used with fitted or both inserts its a little bulky but that is expected since fitteds are on the bulky side.

Overall:  I would recommend Humbird wool wrap, its perfect for daytime and great for kids with allergies. I love how you can wash it in the wash and not only by hand.

Smart Bottoms 3.1 Review

If  you follow me on social media you'll know I recently started cloth diapering full time. I drastically made this decision to cloth diaper and I have to say I wish I would've done it sooner.
I had the chance to try out Smart Bottoms 3.1 organic cotton diaper. I absolutely love the prints they make, this ones in the style called Allister. This diaper is so easy to use being an all in one system, you don't have to prep it before use. Its dry time is so quick which makes it even more amazing. This diaper is priced at 29.00 US dollars which isn't  too expensive compared to other organic diapers.
When I first used the diaper my little one completely leaked thru it but after speaking to a rep they recommend that the diaper be washed a good 6-8 times before use. I washed it about 4 times till I didn't experience anymore leaks and we've been leak proof ever since. I love the fit on my 5 month old, its not too tight around the legs or waist. They state that it'll fit from 10 lb. to 35 I can definitely see it fitting my son as he grows.

Overall: I would recommend this organic cotton diaper. I love the look and feel of it. And if you are looking for an all organic (AIO) this would be a great buy.

Baby Wearing

Hello Lovelies. It been a while since I came on here and posted.
If you all follow me on my social media you would know I love baby wearing, I couldn't do it to much with my first but I am making up for it with my second.
A lot of you guys have asked me how I baby wear since I mostly use wraps and I use them on the daily. So I made a tutorial to help those of you who are interested in learning.
I show how to do a Newborn hold and a Classic hold.

Baby wearing may seem difficult but its actually super easy it take no more than a minute or two to put baby on and your handsfree to do other things. Since I do have a toddler I have to tend to him as-well and this makes it easier so both babes are happy.

My Nursing Must Haves

Hey there mamas! I made a short video to hopefully help new moms in the breastfeeding process. (No I don't teach you how to breastfeed) I talk to you about tips that helped me in producing more milk, as well as products that I enjoy and make my breastfeeding experience easier.
Nothing is more beautiful than that bond you create while breastfeeding. I know some can't or don't chose to breastfeeding and I am in no way judging or saying you have to breastfeed; I'm just simply sharing my breastfeeding must haves and things that helped me with both my children.

I hope this video helped some of you out. Something that I did not go in depth in this video was the topic on plugged ducts. I mention in this video how I got plugged ducts with my first child a lot. And in order to prevent them the best way is to pump after every feeding; if your child does not empty your breast. However if you still find yourself getting plugged ducts the best way I found to unplugged them were certain positions while breastfeeding.
Plugged ducts hurt so step one would be to either take a warm shower and let the hot water hit the area that hurts or use warm a cloth on; you want to gently massage. Second will be latch your child. I found that hovering over helped (since gravity did a lot of the work) a lot. You should do these two steps as much as possible and should clear the plugged duct.

Id love to hear some of your favorites as well as any other tips for fellow moms.

Maxi Cosi Pria 70 Review

Lets talk about car seats. This topic I believe is most important for all moms. We want the best/ safest car seat out there, and some want the most for your buck. Car seats are expensive and its definitely an investment. I recently got the Maxi cosi Pria 70 with TinyFit. This car seat is all that and more. Most would ask why my 2 month old is in a convertible car seat and not an infant seat. This car seat is meant to fit your child as he/she grows. How awesome is that? You can rear face and front face your child depending on their weight. It has a great incline for my tiny tiny babe. One car seat till babe doesn't need one no more. So what better way to save money and feel at ease that your little one is completely safe.

Top rated for safety, comfort and a best fit in the vehicle, the latest generation of the Pria™ 70 with TinyFit™ is here. The Pria is known for advanced safety utilizing FlexTech™ for multi-directional crash energy management and Air Protect® for advanced side impact protection.

Im really excited to share this with you all. If you're on the hunt for a car seat this is definitely the way to go. This car seat feels luxurious to the touch with amazing comfort and padding. I know my little is feeling like a king. I will link Maxi-Cosi site for more information.
If you are a new parent and you are looking for a seat to attach to your stroller this isn't the car seat for you, Maxi Cosi also makes great infant seats. But for me this is the best and you save a lot in the end.

What's in my diaper bag?

I recently uploaded  a what's in my diaper video on my channel.

I wanted to go more in depth on the items that I do carry in my bag and why they have made it into my bag.
As mentioned I use the Lilly Jade Elizabeth bag which for some reason I called Lilly & Jade in my video, but its Lilly-Jade.

Baby & Toddler Favs:
* Yum Earth Organic / Vitamin C pops : This is my healthier alternative to candy for my son. I prefer these to most candies and they are actually very tasty.
* Wubbanub: Elephant my littlest seems to love this and Natursutten  the most which I keep around the house.
* Play Pack Coloring book: His favorites are Paw Patrol, Ninja Turtles and Minions. They bring crayons and stickers for just $1 at target.

Mommy Favs:
* Honest Hand Sanitizer: I love this because it smells good, it quick to handle and the fact that it doesn't leave any residue in your hands.
* Nursing Cover up: I don't have a favorite brand but if you plan on breastfeeding I think a cover up is a must while on the go.
* Nursing Pads: I prefer disposable since you just throw them out after every use.
* Solly Baby Wrap: I love this brand, the fabric is light weight, baby loves it which is most important and its travel friendly.
* Water Wipes: My favorite brand of baby wipes, I carry in my wipes case always.
* Honest Diapers: Wasn't in the video as I had just used up the last one in the bag. But these are my favorites for babe.

These to me are the most important items in my bag. I cannot leave my house without them. Id love to hear some of your favorites.
Also check out my ig we are doing a loop giveaway ending 5.10.16 with great goodies for all breastfeeding mamas.
